An adequate site investigation is absolutely essential to reducing ground risk in construction or remediation projects. Ground risk is the combination of the likelihood and subsequent consequences of encountering unexpected or unsuitable ground conditions during works, and can have serious implications in terms of project costs, safety, health, and the environment.
We are not ground investigation contractors and don’t carry out the physical works. We design and monitor ground investigation works carried out by others.
We have amassed significant expertise in designing, specifying, and interpreting the results of ground investigations in Ireland and internationally. Our staff were part of the committee that published the recent Engineers Ireland Specification for Ground Investigation, currently sit on the committee responsible for the oversight, on behalf of the National Standards Association of Ireland, of changes to geotechnical investigation standards in Europe, and we keep up to date with the latest standards and developments.
We are ideally placed to design, specify, lead the procurement of, monitor on site, and oversee delivery of results of ground investigation projects of all sizes.
